About AISS

The Asbestos Information & Support Service Inc - AISS was previously known as the Victorian Asbestos Diseases Society. In both its guises, it has provided support and assistance to Victorian asbestos disease sufferers and their families for more than 12 years. AISS is a not-for-profit charitable organisation that survives solely on donation and membership.

AISS is made up by a number of committed volunteers who have been personally touched by asbestos disease. Their efforts are directed at assisting others similarly affected. As well as its support activities, AISS aims to educate the general community about the dangers of asbestos, with the ultimate goal being the eradication of asbestos from our environment.
